Delivery & Collection Information

Welcome to our website. Delivery costs are a major component of the supply overheads for every business and are essential to ensure a reliable and efficient service. We try very hard to structure any delivery charges as low as possible and to be fair to all customers large or small.

Delivery is free to most postcode areas of England, Wales & Scotland, however due to the higher cost of deliveries to Highland & Island areas of Scotland and to Northern Ireland and also to off mainland areas of the UK we may in certain circumstances need to add an additional amount to cover these, however, we always do our best to keep this to an absolute minimum. Alternatively we may send an item via a different courier using a longer schedule to avoid any additional charges. Please be accurate with delivery locations and enter the correct delivery zone at checkout as mistakes can sometimes lead to delays in delivery.

Depending on the size and weight of the consignment and the customer location we usually dispatch our 5 litre sizes and above by APC Couriers on a next day service, following our dispatch of the order. We dispatch most items on the same day or within 24 hours of order receipt. Smaller items may be sent via Royal Mail or by Hermes Couriers on a 1 - 3 day schedule, again depending on the weight of the consignment and customer location.

Our couriers do work very hard to ensure that customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently but inevitably there will be occasions when a delivery is attempted when there is nobody available to accept and sign for the consignment. When this happens the courier leaves a card with a number to ring to arrange an alternative delivery date. In the event that our courier is unable to deliver the goods to a customer after two attempts due to there being nobody available to sign, or the address given by the purchaser is incorrect, or if the delivery is refused by the purchaser for any reason other than the goods being damaged a charge will be made to cover the associated costs involved.

Over 98.5% of our orders are dispatched on the same day or within 24 hours of receipt of order.

Due to the nature of our products it may not be possible to ship certain hazardous or heavy items off the mainland or overseas but for most products we are happy to quote delivery costs for worldwide delivery. If you are based overseas and would like a speedy quotation for delivery costs please contact us prior to ordering.

We also allow customers to collect orders directly from our premises in Selby North Yorkshire. We offer a 10% discount off our list price for customers wishing to collect and pay on collection. You must telephone your order through to us in advance so that we can package your items prior to collecting.
